This is going to be a relatively short a sweet article on the AOpen 16x DVD R+/-RW multi drive. I was almost flabbergasted to see the price difference of this model compared to all the competitors in the same range. This unit is designed for DVD burning and CD writing / burning as well. Our main focus in this review is going to be to see if there is a great reason that this product is ½ the price of its next closest competitor or is it really that great a buy..

AOpen does a fin job with packaging and the box appearance not to flashy but nothing special we ended up purchasing this drive at our local CompUSA for 49.99 regular price no rebates no discounts. When compared to the next drive were 99.00 I had to buy and see why it was so much cheaper. This price is a steal as long as it can burn a CD.
